Tensioning device with lamellar form plane bearing ring

The tensioning device comprises a tensioning arm (1) with a roller (2) which is sprung by a coil spring supported by a housing. The tensioning arm is arranged so that it swivels within an annular space by means of a plane bearing ring. The plane bearing ring (7) has at one position a penetrating slot (17). The ring also has at least two axially aligned grooves (13) on the circumference which define narrow flexible platelets (14). The platelets are arranged at an oblique angle to the cover surfaces of the facing parts (3,4). A number of platelets are provided over half the circumference of the plane bearing ring, and a stop (18) is provided to engage the slot (17).
