Endotracheal tube assembly with a suction catheter

The endotrachael tube assembly, with an integrated suction catheter, also has a movable oropharyngeal shrouding tube to protect the tubes from biting by the patient. The suction catheter (c) is secured to the outer curvature of the endotracheal tube (a) by an adhesive or welding. The suction catheter has two opening holes (7) at both sides in the pharyngeal cavity. The oropharyngeal tube is pref. made of a hard PVC.
