The device has a camera (14) which observes the image of a light source (16) in the illuminated lowest region of the body and the outer housing base of the body (7). The video cameras (14) observe the body exterior (19) and at least one light point produced on the inside of the base of the body. The images acquired by the video camera are processed by a connected electronic image evaluation unit which controls recycling. The unit compares the acquired image with stored images of bodies for which recycling is permitted. A test chamber (6) has a door (4) closed after insertion of the body.
