The parking ticket holder allows the ticket (1) to be displayed without having to open a vehicle door or window, while preventing the removal of the ticket. It has a reception space (5) receiving the inserted ticket via a narrow opening (3), with a transparent front wall (4) for viewing the inserted ticket. Pref. the front wall has a locking mechanism (6) which is opened to provide access to the reception space with the used ticket either removed or fed into a used ticket container. The holder can be attached to the vehicle side mirror.
