In the method, an after-heat (postheating) heat exchanger 2 is connected in series downstream of a heat exchanger 1 of the heating system. The district heating water, which flows via the district heating feed 5 over the heat exchanger 1 and is cooled down there, flows in sequence via a connecting line 6 into the downstream heat exchanger 2, is, as the case may be, cooled down further by the service water flowing through on the secondary side, and leaves the after-heat heat exchanger 2 via the district heating return line 7. On the other hand, the cold water flowing into the after-heat heat exchanger 2 via the cold water feed 13 is heated up and fed in this state to the water heating appliance 4 via the afterfeed line 14. Should the heating potential be insufficient for heating up the quantity of service water to the desired temperature, said water is after-heated via a heating battery (coil) 12 which is incorporated in the water heating appliance 4 and effected by the secondary side of the heating system heat exchanger 1. In order further to improve the use of after heat, it is possible in the event of a temperature difference to use a differential pressure regulator 25 to switch in a circulation pump 24 which is connected via the circulation line 23 to the service water appliance 4, on the one hand, and to the secondary side of the after-heat heat exchanger 2, on the other hand. The circulation pump can thus then be used to keep the service water warm in the water heating appliance 4 precisely when no water is being fed in again via the cold water feed 13. <IMAGE> |
