Readily-miscible antistatic additive, esp. for PVC

Antistatic additives (I) contg. 5-50 wt. % water-soluble or -dispersible antistatic(s) (II) and 50-95 wt. % thermoplastic polymer (III) are obtd. by homogeneously dispersing (II) in an aq. dispersion of (III) obtd. by emulsion, suspension or micro-suspension polymerisation, and then drying the dispersion. Also claimed are (i) the above process as such; and (ii) plastic film, esp. PVC film, and extruded plastic mouldings contg. 0.1-5 wt. % (I).
