Miniature lamp with wheel holding five colour filters

A colour filter lamp for the acupuncture massage of horses is made of six exchangeable parts. A glass pin (1), hemispherical on one side, given high light penetration. This is set in an aluminium pyramid (2), 40mm x 40mm at base by 45mm high, which holds the colour wheel (4,5) and a steel pin (3). The wheel is in two parts (4,5), each with six holes 5mm in diameter. In the inner piece (5) these holes carry colour filters (from Cromofilter-SA of Paris) in Blue 80B, Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. The filter is extendable. The sixth piece (6) is the under section of the pyramidal case. This tiny hand-held lamp has been specially designed for massage of horses in their stables. It is simple to use, requires no great exertion and enables the therapist to treat the horse without taking a large number of items of equipment into the stable.
