Magnetic reed relay with permanent magnet actuation

The magnetic switching device has reed relay type contacts (1',1") in the form of sealed glass tubes that mounted with the same axial direction and slightly over lapping. The opening and closing of the contacts is provided by a permanent magnet (4) that has the axis perpendicular to that of the reed devices and is then moved parallel to their axes. The polarity orientation of the magnet can be either way. Actuation regions are formed (3a,b) as the magnet traverses the reed devices. Other orientation configurations can also be used.
