The transporting device has a bypass line through which the transporting gas or fluid can pass if the pipeline is blocked. This bypass line is formed by longitudinal grooves (3) in the internal walls (2) of the transporting pipeline (1). The grooves are parallel to the longitudinal axis (6) of the pipeline. The aperture cross-section of the grooves is of a cross-section or width that is less than the dia. of most of the particles (4) of the pourable material. The grooves may be zigzag in cross-section. In bypassing the pourable material, the fluid acts as a lubricant, reducing the friction between the particles and the walls.
