Vehicle security system

A vehicle anti-theft security system comprises an extended movement of the driver's seat which is locked by independent means if a fully forward position. The seat may travel on a telescopic slide-way from the normal driving position so that the seat obstructs the use of fool operated controls and the seat back obstructs access to the steering wheel and part of the facia panel. Without the locking mechanism being released and the attitude of the seat readjusted, the vehicle cannot be driven.
