<p>PURPOSE:To prevent disturbance of a reproduced picture and to eliminate the deterioration in an electro-mechanical transducer by switching the reproduced track movement during frame shot reproduction tentatively to slow reproduction. CONSTITUTION:At the frame shot reproduction, a magnetic tape is subjected to slow reproduction while being run at a prescribed low speed than a conventional speed for one field to attain slow reproduction while magnetic heads 3a-3d are to follow a recording track through the displacement of electro- mechanical transducers 2a, 2b from a still picture reproduction. Then a pseudo synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal generator 11 is reproduced and used in place of the synchronizing signal during the slow reproduction and still picture reproduction is applied. Since the reproduced track movement is executed gradually by the slow reproduction during the frame shot reproduction, the applied voltage to the electro-mechanical transducers 2a, 2b is not deviated and deteriorated and the pseudo synchronizing signal is inserted at an equal interval in response to the slow reproduction speed, then no vertical disturbance is caused on the reproduced picture.</p> |
