PURPOSE:To improve the image power of a copying machine and durability by incorporating specific ratios of a styrene block copolymer, plasticizer and olefinic working assistant into the titled compd. CONSTITUTION:This thermoplastic rubber compd. for a cleaning blade of a photosensitive body for the copying machine contains 15-70wt% styrene block copolymer, 0-70wt% plasticizer and 5-60wt% olefinic working assistant. This rubber compd. is the thermoplastic rubber compd. having adequate hardness, permanent compressive set and plasticizer migratability, and, therefore, said compd. is induced in microflow in the contact section by the friction energy with an org. photosensitive body (OPC) and exhibits behavior like viscous fluid when said compd. is supplied as the cleaning blade of OPC. The cleaning blade which does not chip and flow OPC and has good cleaning performance is thereby obtd. |
