<p>A compsn. consists of (a) (i) 60-92 wt.% octamethyltrisiloxane (I); and (ii) 8-40 wt.% 2-methyl-1-pentanol (II), where the compsn. is homogeneous and azeotropic at 0-148[deg]C and where the compsn. has a vapour pressure of 1000 Torr at 148[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 60 wt.% (I) and 40 wt.% (II), and of 0.7 Torr at 0[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 92 wt.% (I) and 8 wt.% (II); or (b) (i) 72-95 wt.% (I); and (ii) 5-28 wt.% 1-hexanol (III), where the compsn. is homogeneous and azeotropic at 50-153[deg]C and where the compsn. has a vapour pressure of 1000 Torr at 153[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 72 wt.% (I) and 28 wt.% (III), and of 16.8 Torr at 50[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 95 wt.% (I) and 5 wt.% (III); or (c) (i) 87-98 wt.% (I); and (ii) 2-13 wt.% 1-butoxy-2-propanol (IV), where the compsn. is homogeneous and azeotropic at 100-162[deg]C and where the compsn. has a vapour pressure of 1000 Torr at 162[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 87 wt.% (I) and 13 wt.% (IV), and of 148.8 Torr at 100[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 98 wt.% (I) and 2 wt.% (IV); or (d) (i) 54-64 wt.% (I); and (ii) 36-46 wt.% ethyl lactate (V), where the compsn. is homogeneous and azeotropic at 0-149[deg]C and where the compsn. has a vapour pressure of 1000 Torr at 149[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 61 wt.% (I) and 39 wt.% (V), and of 1.1 Torr at 0[deg]C when the compsn. consists of 54 wt.% (I) and 46 wt.% (V).</p> |
