PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving material capable of obtaining a high density transfer image free from transfer irregularity or missing dots and obtaining recording excellent in blur resistance and light fading resistance during the preservation of an image. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving material is constituted by providing a dye receiving layer containing a diene compd. (or dienophile compd.) on a support having a layer containing a polyester resin consisting of a dicarboxylic acid and diol provided thereon and used in combination with a thermal transfer dye donating material wherein a thermal transfer dye donating layer containing a dye having dienophile (or diene) is formed on a support. |
