<p>PURPOSE:To provide a modified reed for a high-speed air jet loom, capable of reducing the number of stopped looms. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics of this modified reed for high-speed air jet loom are as follows; The number of plain dents 4 arranged at the side end part of warp yarn lines on the main nozzle side is >=1 and the space 7 of their arrangement is <=3mm. Modified dents 5 are continuously arranged leaving a prescribed space and the space percentage of the modified dents is 40 to 55% in the region from the plain dents to a part of 20mm distant therefrom and the dents arranged within 10 to 20mm distance from the side end of the warp yarn lines on the main nozzle side are subjected to abrasion-resistant coating.</p> |
