PURPOSE:To provide a new compound useful as a CFC(chlorinated fluorocarbon) substitute compound, a heating medium, a foaming agent or a detergent. CONSTITUTION:This compound is expressed by the formula (R<1> is a 1 to 2C perfluoroalkyl; R<2> is a 1 to 3C fluoroalkyl having one or more H; X is H or trifluoromethyl), e.g. N,N-bis(trifluoromethyl)-2,2-difluoroethylamine. This compound of the formula is produced by reacting a perfluoroazaalkene of the formula, CF3N=CFY (Y is F or trifluoromethyl) with a polyufluoroalkylsulfonic acid ester in which the ester part is represented by the formula, -SO2OCHXR<5> (R<5> is a 1 to 3C fluoroalkyl having H or not having H) in the presence of an alkaline metal fluoride in an aprotic polar solvent (e.g. N,N-dimethylformamide) at 40 to 100 deg.C. It is a compound hopeful as a substitute CFC capable of preventing destruction of ozone layer or warm-up effect on the globe. |
