HIGH-HARDNESS COATED METAL PLATE SUPERIOR IN WEATHERABILITY AND CORROSION RESISTANCE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain a coated metal plate which is superior in corrosion resistance and weatherability and has a high hardness and a high resistance to stains by a method wherein a specific acrylic poly(meth)acrylate coating film is provided with a specific thickness on a lowermost layer of a metal plate, thereon one or more coating film layers of a specific composition are provided with a specific thickness, and a top layer is irradiated with an electron beam to be cured with a specific ion transmission resistance. CONSTITUTION:An acrylic poly(meth)acrylate coating film having a glass transition point of 100 deg.C or lower and thermally cured to be solid or nearly solid is provided with a thickness of 20mum or more on a lowermost layer of a metal plate. Thereon one or more coating film layers of a composition, containing an acrylic poly(meth) acrylate and a multivalent alcohol (meth)acrylate containing 2 or more (meth)acryloyl groups in one molecule and having an equivalent weight of (meth)acryloyl groups of 150 or less as essential components, are provided with a thickness of 1mum or more. A top layer is irradiated with an electron beam to be cured with an ion transmission resistance of 500 M ohms.cm<2> or more.
