VIBRATION CONTROL METHOD OF PARALLEL CABLE IN DIAGONAL TENSION BRIDGE AND DEVICE

PURPOSE:To control the vibration of cables, by joining cable support frames with a linear frame to form a spacer member and supporting the cables through a vibration-absorbing means by the spacer member. CONSTITUTION:Cable support frames 12 with a semi-circular form in the front view are joined with each other by a linear frame 13 to form a spacer member 11 composed of a pair of two pieces. These spacer members are assembled to surround the outer periphery of a cable 14 by the cable support frame 12 through a vibration-absorbing means 18 like a highly attenuating rubber and the linear frame 13 are connected to each other by bolts and nuts and also the stay 16 of support frame 12 is joined with bolts and nuts 17.
