PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a foamed molded form in which cleaning of a gas bleed hole provided in molds can be eliminated and flowing-out of foamed raw material from the hole can be suppressed. CONSTITUTION:A method for manufacturing a foamed formed material has the step of pouring liquid foamable raw material P in molds 10 having a gas bleed hole 14 at an upper mold 11 to communicate the interior with the exterior of the molds and foaming the material, and comprises the steps of casting a plastic foamable bead 31 having a size larger than the size of the hole 14 and lower specific gravity than that of the raw material together with the raw material in the molds, and foaming the raw material.
