PURPOSE:To obtain a medicine capable of sufficiently inhibiting the excessive response of a living body causing allergic diseases and autoimmune diseases. CONSTITUTION:This agent for inhibiting the excessive response of the human body contains a nucleotide and/or its physiologically acceptable salt and a blood-activating agent in amounts of 1-50wt.%, preferably 5-30 pts.wt., respectively, and in a former/latter weight ratio of 10:1 to 1:100. The nucleotide includes inosinic acid, adenylic acid, thymidylic acid, cytidylic acid, uridylic acid, and guanylic acid, and is preferably the inosinic acid. The blood-activating medicine includes Ligusticum wallichii, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Millettia reticulata, natural copper, the feces of Petaurista xanthotis Milne-Edwards, Area granosa L., Manis pentadactyla L., Eupolyphaga sinensis Walk., Naemorhedusgoral Hardwicke, and the like. inhibiting agent is effective as an agent for treating and preventing allergic diseases such as pollinosis, hay fever, atopic dermatitis and delayed contact dermatitis, and autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, periarteritis nodosa, scleroderma, dermatomyositis and chronic articular rheumatism. |
