PURPOSE:To prevent a screen on a plate cylinder from being damaged by a method wherein a flange and a cutout are formed on each of a drive gear and a driven gear, and when the cutouts are not coincident with each other, the plate cylinder with the drive gear supported by the shaft thereof cannot be pulled out by the engagement of the flanges with each other. CONSTITUTION:A plate cylinder 1 is supported on a frame plate 60 through a rotating shaft 3 and loaded on/unloaded from a frame through a guide bush 66 and the like. A drive gear 67 is mounted on the plate cylinder 1 and supported by the rotating shaft 3. Furthermore, a driven gear 68 is engaged with the drive gear 67 and supported by a rotating shaft 69 of a side plate 65. A timing pulley 70 is fitted on the rotating shaft 69 and wound with a timing belt 71. In this case, when the plate cylinder 1 is loaded/unloaded, the driven gear 68 is engaged with the drive gear 67 using the cutouts thereof by sliding the plate cylinder 1 while the driven gear 68 is kept to be spaced a fixed distance H from the center of the drive gear 67. In this manner, the plate cylinder 1 cannot be loaded/unloaded unless the cutouts are coincident with each other. |
