PURPOSE:To contrive weight and cost reduction of a planter and improvement of heat retaining properties by molding the planter with a foamable resin, to suck up water in recessed parts for water retention to their upper parts for supplying water to soil, further to clean water in the recessed parts for water retention for supplying water to soil, to hang the planter from a structure and to excellently coat the surface of the planter with concrete. CONSTITUTION:This planter is equipped with a main body 1 of a planter made of a foamed resin having a bottom wall 1a and sidewall 1b standing from the peripheral edge of the bottom wall and provided with recessed parts 2 for water retention on the top of the bottom wall of the main body 1 of the planter. The recessed parts for water retention are furnished with an auxiliary member which comprises a fibrous member, a capillary member or a porous member and sucks up water to the upper parts of the recessed parts for water retention. Through holes are bored through the bottom wall of the main body of the planter. A vaporizing layer 5 made of a fibrous member 5b including nonwoven fabric, a porous member 5a or their composite material is formed on the bottom wall. The vaporizing layer is subjected to antimicrobial treatment. A latching member made of a foamable resin is molded in an integrated way on the sidewall of main body of the planter. A lath net is latched on the outside of the sidewall of the main body of the planter and concrete is attached to the lath net. The lath net is thermally fused to the outside of the sidewall of the main body of the planter. |
