PURPOSE: To provide the roll replacing device in a calender for producing a profile strip material from an elastomer or an embossed sheet from a thermoplastic. CONSTITUTION: A calender stand 1 is equipped with a notch part 5 having a ring-shaped internal guide surface 6 whithin the regions of the roll support parts 12 of a roll carrying body 7 and the roll carrying body 7 is provided within the notch part in a revolvable manner so as to be coaxially guided along the internal guide surface 6.
