<p>PURPOSE:To separate oil which is contained in water in the form of an emulsion with high separation efficiency by adding a surfactant to the water containing oil in a separation tank. CONSTITUTION:Water containing oil which contains as oil in the form of an emulsion is stored in a separation tank 1, then this water is aspirated using a pump 3, and finally is ejected into the separation tank 1 for oil/water separation after mixing the water with bubbles using a bubble generator 2. In this case, a surfactant is previously added to the water containing oil. Thus oil particles contained in the water in the form of an emulsion are flocculated promptly, and an efficient oil/water separation is achieved synergetically with an oil flocculation promotional effect by bubbles.</p> |
