<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a vacuum-deposited composite film remarkably superior in gas barrier properties and resistance to fatigue from flexing and to obtain a production method thereof by a method wherein a layer of a vacuum-deposited film is provided on a polymer film substrate by forming a vacuum-deposited film of an inorganic material. CONSTITUTION:In a vacuum-deposited composite film, a vacuum-deposited film of an inorganic material is formed on at least one surface of a polymer film substrate and, furthermore, on the vacuum-deposited film, a water-resistant film formed of a mixture containing polycarboxylic acid or partially neutralized substance thereof and saccharides in a weight ratio of (95:5)-(20:80) is laminated. The water-resistant film is formed by a method in which a solution of a mixture of polycarboxylic acid or partially neutralized substance thereof and saccharides is casted on the vacuum-deposited film and dried to be formed into a film, and the obtained dried film is thermally treated at a temperature of 100 deg.C or higher.</p> |
