PURPOSE:To facilitate a coating operation, to prevent splashing of fluid outside and to hardly generate uneven coating by adopting constitution to flush the fluid in a container body from a sealing chamber into a coating body mounting hole by a valve plug which closes a communicating path when a front end shaft member is fitted to an intermediate shaft member. CONSTITUTION:A cap 10 is mounted at this coating means and the valve plug 5 in the sealing chamber 4 is pressed to the front end of a hollow shaft 2b by a valve pushing rod 11 of this cap 10, by which the fluid is so shut off as not to flow into the sealing chamber 4 at the time of storing or transporting the coating means. The pushing by the valve pushing rod 11 is released and the valve plug 5 is pressed to a step part 3b for sealing by an elastic body 6 at the time of use by removing the cap 10, by which the sealing chamber 4 and the outside are shut off. Then, the leaking to outside of the fluid in the sealing chamber is prevented and the fluid from a container body 1 flows from the communicating passage 3c into the spotting part 8a of the coating body mounting hole 8, by which the coating body 7 is smeared on the coating surface and the fluid inpregnated into the coating body 7 is applied on the coating surface. |
