PURPOSE:To provide a position display device of an operation appliance capable of reducing the load of an operator or an operating person at the time of calibration. CONSTITUTION:An image space coordinate value memory 11 stores the image space coordinate value groups of the respective markers P1-P4 drawn on a tomographic image. An actual space coordinate value memory 12 stores the actual space coordinate value groups of the respective markers in the order indicated at the time of calibration and rearranges the order of the coordinated value groups by the number of permutations and combinations obtained corresponding to the number of the markers. A vector operation part 13 forms vector groups from the coordinate groups in the memories 11,12 and is operated so that a normalization part 14 can compare the vector groups. A corresponding degree calculating part 15 calculates the sum total of the norms of the normalized image space vector groups and actual space vector groups to set a corresponding degree. A conversion value calculation part 16 calculates a conversion value from the actual space coordinate: value groups and image space coordinate value groups wherein the corresponding degree becomes min. |
