PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-resistant conductive nonwoven fabric by impregnating a web comprising metal-coated fibers and metal-noncoated fibers with a flame-resistant adhesive, wherein at least one of both the kinds of the fibers are flame-resistant fibers. CONSTITUTION:This flame-resistant conductive nonwoven fabric is obtained by mixing the first fibers produced by subjecting flame-resistant polyester fibers or acrylic fibers, etc., to a metal (e.g. silver)-coating treatment by an electroless plating method with the second metal-noncoated fibers comprising flame-resistant polyester fibers or rayon fibers, at least one of both the kinds of the fibers being flame-resistant fibers, and then processing the mixture into a web, or laminating the web of the first fibers to the web of the second fibers, at least one of both the first and second fibers being flame-resistant fibers, and subsequently impregnating the formed web or the laminated web with a flame- resistant adhesive comprising a flame-resistant vinyl chloride resin. |
