PURPOSE:To provide a catalyst fitting structure in an outboard motor wherein a catalyst is stored in an expansion chamber formed on the lower surface of an exhaust guide like a bag, by which the catalyst can be fitted with a large fitting strength to enlarge the capacity of the catalyst, and the fitting work can be conducted simply. CONSTITUTION:In an outboard motor 1 where an expansion chamber 20 formed like a bag for storing a catalyst 22 is fitted to the lower surface of an exhaust guide 11 disposed between a top cowl 6 and an upper case 7, the catalyst 22 stored in the expansion chamber 20 is fitted to the lower surface of the exhaust guide 11 through a flange 23 fixed to the outer periphery of the catalyst 22. |
