PURPOSE:To provide a chair, composed of few part items and with easy mechanism, whose upright bar in a backrest part corresponding to the seat frame of a seat can easily be assembled in one operation, and whose cost is reasonable. CONSTITUTION:An upright bar 9 in a backrest part is located inside the seat frame 6 of a seat so that the side face of the upright bar 9 faces the inside of the seat frame 6, a first controlling pin 10 and a second controlling pin 11 are stuck outward respectively on each end part and each middle part of both side faces of the upright bar 9, and a guide groove 13 by which the backrest part 2 slides while leading the first controlling pin 10 and a moving groove 14 by which the second controlling pin 11 moves vertically, are mounted on the inside face of the seat frame 6. The first controlling pin 10 located inside the guide groove 13 serves as a pivotal supporting point, which makes the second controlling pin 11 located inside the moving groove 14 so as to freely revolvable, and an elastic member 19 is located between the upright bar 9 and the seat frame 6 to add an elastic energization to the upright bar 9 when tilting forward. |
