PURPOSE:To provide a material for selectively separating anion and method of selectively separating anion so that the objective anion for separation such as fluorine ion can be selectively and efficiently separated and removed from the liquid to be treated. CONSTITUTION:In this material for selectively separating anion, on the surface of a carrier 1 comprising a cation exchanging material, a metal element 2 which selectively makes ion coupling with the objective anion for separation is adsorbed in a charged state. This material for selectively separating anion is brought into contact with the liquid to be treated containing the objective anion 3 for separation and a coexistent material such as other anions 4 so that the objective anion 3 for separation is bonded with the metal element 2 in a charged state. Thus, the objective anion 3 for separation is selectively separated from the liquid to be treated. |
