PURPOSE:To obtain a coloring substance dispersion including little foreign matter from a pulverizer by pressurizing an aq. 1iq. contg. a coloring substance to a high pressure and then making two flows of the aq. 1iq. collide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A dispersant and 3-20wt.% coloring substance of 5 to 100mum in particle size are incorporated into an aq. medium to prepare a starting 1iq. The starting 1iq. is pressurized to a pressure of 200 to 2,000kg/cm<2> with a high-pressure pump, and then passed in such a pressurized state through a flow path A to be flowed into the two through holes 111 of a bisected front disk 11 and then into orifices constituted of the flat surface of a rear disk 12 and the communicating groove 112 of the front disk 11. The resulting two flows of the 1iq. contg. the coloring substance are made to collide with each other in a central portion of the communicating groove 112 to effect pulverization of the coloring substance, and then passed through orifices formed at a shifted phase angle of 90 deg. and constituted of the communicating groove 122 of the rear disk 12 and the flat surface of the front disk 11, and then through the two through holes 121 of the rear disk 12 to be discharged on the downstream side of the rear disk 12, whereby dispersion of the coloring substance can be effected to a coloriong substance particle size of at most 2mum. Therefter, the 1iq. contg. the coloring substance is diluted to control the colorung substance concn. thereof to a level of 0.5 to 5wt.%. |
