The circuitous speeching method of a telephone with a plurality of speech lines comprises the steps of receiving a key input signal from a key input unit and selecting and designating a recording mode and a circuitous speech mode corresponding thereto; if the recording mode is designated, receiving a key input signal of a telephone number, converting this signal into telephone number data and recording it at a memory; and if the circuitous speech mode is designated, receiving a speech request signal from a first speech line via a ring detector, reading the telephone number data from the memory, transmitting a DTMF signal corresponding thereto to a second speech line, detecting the incoming state of the DTMF signal, contacting the first speech line to the second speech line via an internal contact circuit if a call is received, cutting the contact of the first speech line to the second speech line via the internal contact circuit if a speech is completed, and transmitting a speech unable signal to the first speech line if a call is not received.
