PURPOSE:To form a membrane such as a film in a state suppressed in lateral shrinkage even in the case of a resin high in molding temp. and low in the coefficient of friction and high in shrinkability. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for producing a thermoplastic synthetic resin membrane by extruding a thermoplastic synthetic resin in a sheet like form from a T-die 2 and cooling and solidifying the sheet on a cooling roller 3, a press roller 7 pressing the end part of a molten resin 1 between the cooling roller 3 and the roller 7 to form the resin into a film 4 while suppressing the shrinkage in the lateral direction of the resin film 4 is arranged so as to be adjustable in three directions of the direction right-angled to a roller axis, a roller lateral direction and a height direction between the cooling roller 3 and the press roller 7. Therefore, a membrane such as a film can be stably formed in a state suppressed in lateral shrinkage. |
