PURPOSE:To enable docosahexanoic acid capable of exhibiting effect on improvement of learning and memory and prevention of adult diseases to take from bonito-Japanese apricot product which is extremely familiar on eating habit. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of bonito with Japanese apricot containing docosahexaenoic acid is obtained by mixing leaves of perilla cut into small pieces with dried bonito flakes, immersing the mixture in a perilla solution and dehydrating the mixture, adding 0.1-0.15wt.% of docosahexaenoic acid to 100 pts.wt. of the dehydrated bonito-perilla mixture under stirring and mixing the resultant mixture with seasoned Japanese apricot. |
