In a two-part plastic clip for closing sausage covers, bags or the like, the first part (1) partially surrounds the end of the cover which is gathered to form a tail while the second part bridges the first part (1) in a connecting manner and is attached to the first part with engagement. The second part (2) is linked by its one transverse end to the first part (1) with the aid of a film hinge (3) and has, at its other transverse end, a catch member (16) which can be brought into engagement with a catch member (22) on the first part to close the clip. Formed in the first part (1) is a U-shaped receiving space (4) with transverse webs (6) and, on a crossmember (8) running parallel to the transverse web near to the hinge between side cheeks (5), the second part (2) is supported in the closed state by an arm (13) engaging below the crossmember (8). A second crossmember (9) is preferably provided, which connects the side cheeks (5) on the catch side and laterally supports a catch arm (16) which is in engagement with a tongue (22) bearing the catch projections (20, 21) of the first part on the transverse web (6). <IMAGE> |
