The machine has a motorised chassis with a rotating turret containing a control centre, and motor which controls an articulated shaft and arm and a tool. Jacks control the relative angles between the shaft, arm and the tool. Each jack (14,15,16) is linked to an intermediate compass (17,18,19) which controls the relative angles. The first compass (17) controls the angle between the turret (2) and the shaft (11). It has two connecting rods (17a,17b) which form an acute angle within which the jack (14) is positioned. The second compass (18) controls the angle between the shaft (11) and the arm, and has two connecting rods (18a,18b) which form an acute angle, with the jack (15) positioned outside the angle. The third compass (19) controls the angle between the arm (12) and the tool (13). This has two curved connecting rods (19a,19b). Between these rods is the axis of articulation (13a) between the tool and the arm. Each jack has one end which is attached to the axis of the corresponding compass.
