The device consists of an annular container (10) to hold the contraceptive and an inner slot (12) round the container to unroll it. Two rings (14,16) connected to the container are held in the fingers as the contraceptive is put on. The container is preferably made from a hypoallergenic material which is resistant to disinfect products or sterilisation procedures. Its slot can be coated with a silicone film to facilitate unrolling of the contraceptive.
