The apparatus for inputting position data magnetically includes a positioner(10) having a magnet(13) and hall elements(21,31) placed on X and Y axes, detectors(20,30) detecting displacement of X and Y axes, an A/D converter(40) converting analog output of the detector to digital one, a key input circuit(50) inputting information of X and Y position and transmission mode, a controller(60) transmitting data with user defined transmission mode, a memory(70) storing user interface software, position data, key data, parameter, and intermediate calculated data, a transmitter(80) transmitting serial formated data from the controller, and a transmitter(90) transmitting optical formatted data from the controller. |
