Alkoxylation products produced by reacting alkylene oxides with C10-22 carboxylic acid derivatives and/or C10-22 carboxylic acids that contain carboxylic acid residues with at least one OH group at positions 9, 10, 13 and/or 14 are suitable for suppressing deposits on paper-making equipment.
