Each of the two doors (4), designed to cover an aperture in the drum (5), has a main spring (8) which pushes the door open and a second spring (9) which operates only when the door is at the end of its closing movement. The two springs have different operating efforts, with the second one (9) operating in the same direction as the first, but only up to 10 - 20 deg of door opening. In a variant of the design the second spring can be replaced by a friction element or shock absorber.
