Determining place and size of leakages in sewage and drainage lines and similar systems

A voltage is applied at the measuring probe(2) and the current emitted from an average probe part of several probe parts lying at the same potential, is measured. The potential equality between the probe parts (3-5) is ensured by the constructive design of the probe(2) as a continuous conductive body. The potential equality between the probe parts(3-5), with at least a partial mechanical separation, is ensured by the connection with a cable. The potential equality of three probe parts with mechanical separation is ensured by an active electrical regulation.
