The measuring, storing and actuating equipment accepts a reference signal (SR), which is proportional to intensity, via a manually-operated key (3) or via an electronic intensity-proportional or time-controlled transducer (4), or from a remote source via a data-bus. The reference signal is stored in a microprocessor (5) which has a facility to ensure data security. The actual signal (SI) is also proportional to intensity. It is measured by a sensor (1) and compared to the reference signal in a comparator, operational amplifier (2) or Schmitt trigger. A switching signal is initiated if the comparison shows that both signals coincide.
