An apparatus for fine-bubble aeration of waste water has air distributors which are arranged underneath water level, are connected to an air-distributor line and have a perforated air-distributor sheet (4), which is connected in a sealing manner around its edge regions to a moulding (1). The moulding (1) has a rectangular outline and the air-distributor sheet (4) is stretched around the moulding (1) and connected on the underside to the moulding (1) by means of clamping parts (5). For further fastening and sealing-off of the air-distributor sheet (4), tension bands (6) are placed around the moulding (1), the said bands being reinforced on the upper side of the moulding (1) by hold-down devices (7) extending transversely with respect to the moulding (1). As a result, simple assembly is achieved without requiring screws.
