The invention concerns an electronic fuse which can be programmed inductively by a programming apparatus (PRG) and is calibrated in that the carrier frequency of the programming apparatus is counted into a first counter (Z1) in the fuse (Z) until a predetermined counting state is reached. At the same time, pulses of an imprecise internal oscillator (IO) are counted into a second counter (Z2) of the fuse (Z). When the predetermined counting state is reached in the counter (Z1), the counting state reached in the counter (Z2) is stored in a memory (SP) and the stored counting state is used in the flight phase of the projectile carrying the fuse for processing the programmed time of flight.
