A motor-rotatable plate (1 figure 1) for a floor cleaning machine which includes a tank for cleaning liquid and/or water and a pipeline leading from the tank which extends to a region above the plate and terminates at a distance therefrom, said plate is provided in use with a cleaning device (2 figure 1) and includes a plurality of holes 4 on a circle between a central axis (3 figure 1) and the circumference of the plate and further includes a retaining ring 5 above the plate radially outwardly surrounding the holes with at its edge a circumferential liquid collection collar 6 directed radially to the central axis, said collar including radial webs 7 extending both to and centrally across the holes in the plate so as to form retaining edges.
