Transversely soft carrier spring for hydraulic bearing

The spring is for a bearing to damp vibrating masses. It has a rubber-elastic carrier body (1), a receiver (3) on or in the body to connect the bearing with the vibrating mass, and a casing (11) against a fitting device. The body includes at least one recess extending deeply in the axial direction of the carrier body. The external walls of the recess run with a clearance from each other when the bearing is under static load. The recesses may be formed from cylindrical spaces (8), which extend from one cover side (6) of the carrier body towards the opposite cover side (7), all round the receiver (3).
