Prodn. of refractory ceramic components comprises crushing used refractory ceramic components contg. C and a high amt. of Al2O3 to granular scrap. Carbon black is added to the scrap to adjust the total C content and fine material amt.. A resin is added to the mixt. as binder in an amt. corresponding to the total C content. The mixt. contg. the binder is pressed into the form of a component and tempered.
