摘要 The process produces a latent image on the surface of a pyroelectric layer of a carrier (2). The pyroelectric effect causes charges to develop on the surface. The cylindrical body (1) has a transparent carrier (2) with a transparent electrode layer (3), a photo-conductive layer (4), a second electrode layer (5) and a layer made from a pyroelectric material (6). Voltage is applied to the transparent electrode layer and the electrode layer to create heat in the lit area of the photo-conductive layer. The heat is transported to the pyroelectric layer and a charge develops on the surface of this layer. Rays from a LED array light source (8) are emitted as print signals. The light penetrates the photo-conductive layer (4), producing warmth between the transparent electrodes. The heat is carried through to the pyroelectric material, causing an increase in temperature on the surface and creating an electrostatic picture through the pyroelectric effect. The image is developed using a developing appts (9) with liquid developer based on opposite polarities.
