Mixer for burner in small firing system

The burner has a flame tube (10) containing a central nozzle base (16), and a baffle plate (26) in the tube outlet end. A central hold (32) in the plate is downstream of the nozzle head (18) on the base, and forms an annular gap with the tube. Upstream and clear of the plate and parallel to it is a metering plate (38) with a central opening (42). On the upstream side of the metering plate is a centring sleeve (44) with closed peripheral surface, and which encloses the central opening coaxially. The sleeve forms a sealed joint with the metering plate, and accommodates the nozzle head (18), which slides in it in the axial direction. There can be radial swirl-inducing slots (34) in the baffle plate and which are at least partly covered in the radial direction by the metering plate.
